Michael Leen, fibi & clo Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer
In 2004, Michael launched the luxury brand Operations with two college friends. The brand grew quickly and by 2009, Operations had two stores in New York City and sold to accounts such as Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus, Saks, Nordstroms, Bergdorf Goodman and high-end specialty boutiques across the country.
In 2009, Michael created the idea and business model for Incorporated by Operations; a lower-priced line that could be sold to a broader customer demographic. In order to create this line, Michael began business partnerships in China and developed the supply chain necessary for high-volume production. Shortly after, Levis Strauss reached out to Michael and a deal was brokered to create a line of outerwear for all of their American retail stores.
In 2011, Michael took his brand experience and consulted with American Eagle, Kmart, Lands End, Fila and GRG by Dynamite Group to create an array of fashion goods and accessories for their stores and catalogues.
That same year, Michael joined AnaLiza to create and grow the fibi & clo brand and business model. He currently heads business strategy, sales and production.
A Georgia man at heart, Michael graduated with honors from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He currently resides in NYC with his fiance', f & c Founder and Creative Director AnaLiza Alba, and is the adoptive father of two kitties, fibi & clo.
